Advisory Bodies
The three thematic chambers provide the Board with opinions on matters related to research, training offers, study content, and accreditations:
- The University Chamber includes university rectors and members of the bureau. It addresses topics specific to universities, fundamental and applied scientific research, third-cycle studies, and long-cycle programs.
- The University Colleges and Adult Education Chamber brings together presidents of university colleges, a representative of adult education, and bureau members. It focuses on topics specific to university colleges and adult education, applied scientific research, one-cycle programs, and specialization studies.
- The Schools of Arts Chamber includes directors of schools of arts and bureau members. It deals with topics specific to higher arts education, artistic research, and first- and second-cycle artistic studies.
The Standing Committes are composed of members selected for their expertise in the relevant field. They prepare the deliberations and decisions of the ARES Board.
