START-UP: to test new ideas or initiate new partnerships.
PROMOTION: to capitalise on and combine the skills of stakeholders from academia, civil society and the private sector.
Goals of Start-up Projects?
- Test new research ideas (themes/methods).
- Identify new partnerships.
- Join or initiate networks.
- Collaborate in the creation or reform of training programmes.
- Support artistic creation.
- Share ideas for educational innovation.

Goals of Promotion Projects?
- Capitalise on and promote results already achieved or skills in collaboration with non-academic actors.
