The call for applications for the academic year 2026-2027 is open!

Opening: 4 August 2025.

Deadline:  19 September 2025 (Belgian time, UTC+1).

PLEASE NOTE: as indicated in the reference document for the call for applications for ARES International Training Courses 2026-2027, requests to create new GIRAF accounts will be accepted until Friday 12 September 2025 at 4 pm. (Belgian local time).

From 12 September at 4 pm, only those whose GIRAF account has been validated will be able to create an application form or complete it. Completed application forms must be submitted by Friday 19 September 2025 at 12 noon (local time in Belgium).

Application procedure

WARNING! The application procedure is online via the GIRAF platform. Do not send any personal data (passport photos, copies of diplomas, etc.) by e-mail. If you receive such a request through another channel (e-mail, WhatsApp, etc.), it is probably a phishing attempt.

Goal

The purpose of the programme is to train microfinance professionals from both the North and the South and contribute to the strengthening of microfinance institutions worldwide in accordance with the highest international standards.
